Do I need any prior knowledge before taking the CeMAP course?
We do not assume that you have any financial background knowledge. Even students without any professional experience or knowledge background can complete the CeMAP training and pass the exam to obtain the qualification.
Our course starts from the basics to ensure every student can understand and grasp the material.
How are the CeMAP exams conducted?
The CeMAP exams are organized and certified by The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF).
Our LIBF course provides training to help you successfully pass the CeMAP exam and become a qualified mortgage advisor.
However, please note that only LIBF can administer your exams. Our training fees do not include LIBF’s exam fees. The exam fees must be paid directly to LIBF, and the cost is £215 per module (3 modules in total). You can register on their website at www.libf.com, or contact them at +44 (012) 27 818609.
Each module exam is evaluated through multiple-choice questions and needs to be completed in approximately 2 hours:
- CeMAP 1: 2 units, 100 multiple-choice questions.
- CeMAP 2: 4 units, 105 multiple-choice questions.
- CeMAP 3: 6 case studies, each with 10 multiple-choice questions (60 questions in total).
You can choose the time and location for your CeMAP exams. From the date of your LIBF exam registration, you have 12 months to complete the exams for each module. The first exam for each module is included in the registration fee.
Will I receive a recognized CeMAP qualification certificate after completing the course?
LIBF is the official certifying body for the CeMAP qualification, and only LIBF can issue the Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice.
Thus, we are not the certificate-granting body, but our course helps you obtain the Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice issued by LIBF, enabling you to become a professional mortgage advisor.
Our course will help you thoroughly understand the exam content, provide mock test practice, and teach exam techniques. However, actual certification must be obtained through the LIBF assessment system.
